To put my own spin on traditional
embroidery I found an online class that piqued my curiosity.
Free-form embroidery.

Completed piece. |
Here is how everything came together:
 |
linen ribbon and seed stitch |
 |
Running stitch and satin stitch |
 |
satin ribbon and wool roving |
I followed the instructor's design more or less.
BUT
I can't wait to design my own!
If you give embroidery a try, you will see how
relaxing it is.
When I am embroidering I notice my
heart rate slow and time flies by.
I am in the zone!
