Collecting and painting rocks - summer activities for kids

Rock Point beach,  on Lake Erie,  lives up to it's name.

A few weeks ago my family and I walked the beach looking for rocks to paint.

We finally found the time to paint them.

My nine year old covered a lot of rocks with paint.

There may be another trip to Rock Point before the summer is done.
(More rocks for mom to paint - enough to keep us going through the winter.)
