Collage night

I did it!  I finally tried my hand at mixed media collage.

I lugged two bins full of papers,  paints,  brushes,  glitter,  bingo dabbers,  dried leaves, and more,  to my mom's where my daughter, sister, mom and I forgot about all our worries for a few hours.

I was pleasantly surprised to see wall paper books,  newspapers from the 60's  and sheet music my mom and sister added to the mix.

The toughest part was starting.  

All of us,  some longer than others,  sat starring at our blank pages waiting for inspiration to hit.

Everyone created something so different than the rest.

We are planning another collage night soon!
