healthy shamrock shake


When I was a kid my dad brought me to McDonalds for my first shamrock shake.
I loved it!  I still enjoy anything minty but times have changed,  my eating habits have changed and I can't - (won't)  buy myself a shamrock shake.
I took this as a challenge to make my own version of cold,  green,   minty goodness.



 Here is my version of a shamrock shake:

one small banana
1/4 cup frozen, chopped kale
17 fresh mint leaves
3 heaping serving spoons of plain yogurt
1 tbsp honey

Blend all ingredients and drink up.

I have to say,  I was impressed.
 Next time I will add a frozen banana in place of a not frozen one and a few more mint leaves.
