Sometimes you just have to 'get weird', be silly and make funny faces.
When my daughter popped this elephant mask on to get her 'sillies out' I took full advantage and grabbed my camera.
For this series of photos I used my Lens Baby lens which picks a part of the photo to focus on and throws the rest out of focus. Alaina is not usually keen on having her picture taken so I had to shoot fast. I think hitting the shutter quickly without any time to really think about composition adds to the overall mood of these pics.
Ahhh...she's such a good sport.
