| Queen of braces |
That evening she sat down with paper, pencil and coloured pencils.
Earlier that day my daughter discovered she will need braces. To help herself deal with this bit of life-changing, (for a child this is life changing), news she drew a portrait of a queen wearing braces. I'm so glad she can use art to help her sort out her thoughts.
How do you deal with the unknown, with change?

ReplyDeleteI guess my way of dealing with change is a lot of contemplation, but now that I think of it, art 'therapy' probably helps me the most!
