I had spring in my step;
I seemed to have more patience;
I didn't even mind the daily ritual of trying to get my daughter out the door on time for school.

Why?  The warm sun touched everything that was cold.  Sunbeams lit up my house and cast
shadows throughout.

Here is an image I shot today of one of our kitchen chairs.

I found this set of six antique wooden chairs at a yard sale during an early Saturday morning walk a few years ago.  I paid just ten dollars a piece for them.  Each one has it's own unique wood grain pattern.  This one is my favourite.
