Health benefits of fibre crafts.

'Alive magazine' featured an article in their February, 2014 issue about the health benefits of fibre crafts.
Herbert Benson, MD discovered in 1960 that "focused, repetitive movement can trigger the 'relaxation response'.  A variety of activities produced it,  including meditation, deep breathing, tai chi, qigong, jogging - and knitting."

Also from this article,  a survey of 3,545 people who knit regularly reported:
  • improved memory
  • better concentration
  • improved problem solving and analytical abilities
  • more patience, persistence, and perseverance
  • greater creativity
  • more self-confidence
  • enhanced relaxation

My daughter left a doodle beside the computer so I used it as a embroidery design.

Simple black lines  - to really show off the design.
It's that simple!
