Every so often, I get to bring home some flowers!
It's just one of the perks from working in the floral industry.
I can't take my eyes off them!
These roses quickly became the base for my next floral sketch.
I finished '30 days of creativity' at the end of January.
One of the prompts was to sketch something without taking your pencil off the page until you are done. One continuous line drawing.
I love it because there is no pressure - no perfection.
It keeps your hand relaxed and your drawing loose.
I even hold my pencil differently.
I just realized that my vase looks like a chemistry lab beaker!
(Must be from helping my daughter study for chemistry last semester.)
