More green than brown.

There is more green than brown.  Buds are forming,  making the tree branches look bumpy.
Flower heads,  attached to bulbs,  are busting through the earth.
Anything left over from winter will be used to make spring and summer even more beautiful.

I just finished reading Anne Lamott's book called 'Almost Everything,  Notes on Hope'

So good.

"Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come.  You wait and watch and work: you don't give up."
Anne Lamott

I think of spring as a season that brings hope.  New growth and the anticipation of beautiful, fruitful things to come.

Work in progress.
My first try at a couching.  (the stems and uncurling leaves)
