Hand stitched - vintage designs

  My kryptonite?  Anything hand stitched.
I am powerless against the colours and textures turned out by hand stitching.

Having a wander around a local thrift shop is one of my favourite things to do.
Sometimes I find a treasure like this.

Complete and ready to hang.  I might change out the frame.

or something a bit more kitschy like these:

Unfinished and not something I would hang in my home.  Titled 'Omelette'

Another unfinished piece.  Titled, 'Owls on a Limb' 

As dated as these designs are,  they are lovely examples of what can be accomplished with just a few simple tools.
