Ink blot butterflies - feel like a kid again.

When I started this blog my very first post was about making ink blots.

I didn't know what I was going to do with them,  but I couldn't stop making them.

I was having too much fun!

I tucked them away for a time.

 Then I took some encaustic painting lessons and found those ink blots.

That was six years ago.

Now...

I find myself making controlled butterfly and moth "ink blot" paintings.
This process never gets old.
It makes me feel like a kid again - it's a surprise every time.
